I'm a landscape photographer from County Durham and since retiring I've tried to expand my range of photographic skills and style. I'm particularly drawn to the colours around sunrise and sunset but also love the shapes and patterns found in the landscapes of the North Pennines.
However, I am disabled; occasionally using sticks but, more usually, a wheelchair, and so, one of the big challenges is to find suitable locations to access and take photos.
I rely on my husband as he carries the tripod and pushes me in the wheelchair!
I'm a member of the Royal Photographic Society as well as the Disabled Photographers Society and, have successfully been awarded a "Licentiateship" by both organisations - LRPS and LDPS. I currently have an image "Saltburn Sunrise" on display in The Baltic Centre for Art.
