I'm a landscape photographer from County Durham and, since being retired, have had more time for taking photos and expanding my range of photographic skills. I'm particularly drawn to the colours around sunrise and sunset, as well as the patterns and texture to be found in water. I love the landscapes of the North Pennines near me.
However, I am disabled; occasionally using sticks but, more usually, a wheelchair, and so, one of the big challenges is to find suitable locations to access and take photos.
I rely on my husband as he carries the tripod and pushes me in the wheelchair!
I'm a member of the Royal Photographic Society as well as the Disabled Photographers Society and, have successfully been awarded a "Licentiateship" by both organisations - LRPS and LDPS.
